Gaby is a hygienist who is very knowledgeable about dentistry and is dedicated to enhancing the lives of her patients through dentistry. Gaby was a dentist in the Dominican Republic. When she came to the United States, she did not have a USA dental license. She worked at Dental Care of Stamford as a dental assistant while she went back to school for hygiene. She graduated with honors from Hostos Community College. Gaby has been with us for over 10 years. We value her at Dental Care and her patients love her too!
Joanne graduated from Tunxis Community College in Farmington, CT. She has been with our office for over 10 years and has over 30 years of hygienist experience! She goes above and beyond for her patients by making sure each visit is personalized and comfortable. Her patients love to come see her because she always remembers what they like and what they do not like. She enjoys working as a dental hygienist because it opens the door to meet new patients, create relationships, and help them to achieve optimal dental health. Her goal as a Dental Hygienist is to continue to learn and share her knowledge about dentistry so she can help patients appropriately. Joanne makes it possible for patients to actually enjoy coming to the dentist. She is irreplaceable!

Irena studied at the University of Tirana, Dental school, in Albania and the Hostos Community College, in Bronx, NY. She has been working at Dental Care for 20 years. She has established long-lasting relationships with her patients and they continue to keep coming back for all the great work that she does. She enjoys being there for her patients and helping them achieve their dental goal. We love Irena! She is a valuable team member of Dental Care!

Kirsti graduated from Fones School of Dental Hygiene. She became a Dental Hygienist because she wanted to help patients achieve their dental goals. Kirsti loves working at Dental Care because of the lasting relationships with patients that she has made over the years and enjoys helping patients maintain their dental health. Kirsti has been working with Dental Care for almost 20 years. We enjoy having Kirsti around because she is always smiling and positive; it brightens up our days. Kirsti’s goal as a hygienist is to continue learning to better assist her patients with the best dental care possible. Kirsti is loved by patients because of her personality, she comforts them and does a wonderful job! We appreciate her and the work that she does!

Estefania has been interested in dentistry since a young age, so she embarked on a life-long journey to pursue her passion in her native country, Colombia. In 2016, Estefania graduated top of her class while earning her dental degree from Santiago de Cali University in Colombia. This opportunity opened doors for her to explore different cultures and countries, which brought her to America where she fell in love with the beauty and diversity of this amazing country she now calls home.
In 2019, she commenced full-time employment as a dental assistant at Dental Care Stamford. Eventually, Estefania made the decision to return to school at Fones School to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene so she can work as a dental hygienist in the USA. Recently, she successfully passed the National Dental Board examination, enabling her to participate in the program for foreign-educated dentists and continue to work at Dental Care as a dental hygienist. In the future, Estefania plans to work towards becoming a licensed dentist in the United States.
Estefania is a passionate and fun-loving person who thrives on outdoor activities. When she is not helping patients with their smiles, you’ll often find her exploring nature through hiking and cycling. She also enjoys working out to stay healthy and energized. Estefania’s hobbies also include various artistic pursuits, such as painting, knitting, or diving into the pages of a romantic novel.
Rocio attended Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport, where she gained her Associate’s degree and her Bachelor’s degree. She also has a Dental Doctorate degree in El Salvador, where she is originally from. She is bilingual, in English and Spanish. She is also certified in Local Anesthesia. Rocio has the patience and a passion to work with children and adolescents, since she has worked with this population for over a decade. She has the belief that at an early age many oral diseases can be prevented. She is proud and happy to be part of the family of Dental Care Kids.
Rocio is also a member of the American Dental Association. In her spare time Rocio enjoys spending time with her children and husband, traveling and knowing different places.
Rocio is also a fashion designer and belongs to a group of women called ”Connie’s Circle“ where she teaches women to sew and make her own clothes.
Francis Bermudez, Registered Dental Hygienist attended Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport where she obtained her Associate’s degree and her Bachelor’s degree.
Francis was born and raised in Venezuela where she found her passion for working with children after volunteering for two years at a pre-school facility. Francis is fluently bilingual in English and Spanish.
Francis is also a proud member of the American Dental Hygienists Association and part of the Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene honor society. Francis found her home away from home as part of the Dental Care Kids family.
In her spare time, she loves to spend quality time with her family and friends, go to the movies, travel, and study.
Anabel was born in Ecuador and raised in Norwalk, Connecticut. She is fluent in English and Spanish. She attended New York University where she obtained her bachelors degree. Her love for dentistry grew from a young age when she had great experiences at the dentist and she now wants to provide that same care for children.
She loves working with kids and realizes how important it is for them to enjoy coming to the dentist. She believes building good oral health habits at a young age leads to a healthy future. Bringing smiles to kids brings a smile to her.
In her spare time, Anabel loves to go on hikes and go to the beach with her dog.
She also loves to paint and read.
Ana started as a dental assistant at Dental Care Kids where she worked for several years assisting the doctors and team. As a dental assistant, she realized her passion was dentistry. After several years she decided that she wanted to have a more one-on-one relationship with the children and families so she decided to specialize as a dental hygienist.
She continued working part-time at Dental Care Kids and attended Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport where she obtained her Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene. She is currently continuing her academic journey and completing her bachelor’s degree.
She feels that her background as a dental assistant gave her great insight into being a more effective hygienist.

When she is not in the office, she enjoys her time with her family. She loves to travel and try new foods.
