MEET DR. MEL

Pediatric Dental Specialist | Dentist for Kids  (D.D.S)

Dr. Melanie Melgarejo grew up in Queens, New York, and attended New York University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Computer Science.  She went on to attend the University of New England School of Dental Medicine in Maine, where she graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine. Dr. Mel completed a Residency Program in Pediatric Dentistry at Harlem Hospital Center in New York, where she received her specialty certificate.

Dr. Mel is bilingual in Spanish and English is dedicated to creating positive dental experiences for children by combining clinical excellence with a gentle, compassionate approach. She believes that early dental care plays a vital role in a child’s overall well-being and is committed to helping every patient build a strong foundation for a lifetime of healthy, confident smiles. Whether it’s a first tooth or a first filling, Dr. Mel makes every visit something to smile about!

In her free time, Mel enjoys running marathons, discovering new restaurants in NYC, and spending time with her family and friends.
