Requirements for a Dental Specialist in Stamford, CT

  • DDS/DMD from an accredited dental school, with appropriate licensing and qualifications in your specialty area
  • Completion of an accredited specialty residency program or equivalent specialized training that is required for your field of expertise
  • Active or eligible Connecticut dental license
  • Board certification or board eligibility in your specialty (if applicable)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • For pediatric roles, comfort working with children and communicating clearly with parents
  • Strong diagnostic, treatment planning, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical experience in your specialty
