As everyone knows, the rate of knowledge is doubling every 3 to 5 years.  And that includes dentistry.  To keep up with this avalanche of information, at Dental Care of Stamford, we combine the Team approach to dental care with continuing education for the doctors and staff.

The Team approach combines specialists and general dentists so we can all narrow our focus to learn more and more. The total Team is always rapidly expanding our knowledge so we can be at the leading edge in every single field in dentistry.  This would be impossible for one person, but with a team approach, Dr. Simon can concentrate on cosmetics and bite problems and technology, Dr. Schwab can concentrate on cosmetics and restorative dentistry, Dr. Dragneva can concentrate on restorative and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Neichin can concentrate on reconstructive gum procedures, Dr. Wood can concentrate on root canal procedures, Dr. Scher can concentrate on orthodontic braces and Dr. Slow can concentrate on oral surgery.  Between them all, our doctors have over 125 years of experience.            

Each of our doctors spends many days each year away from the practice to study and learn the newest developments in their field.  In addition, several of the doctors teach other dentists.  And because we are all here together, we are constantly meeting and sharing among ourselves.  At Dental Care of Stamford, we take seriously the words of pioneer dental researcher, Dr. G.V. Black, who said "Every professional must be a continuous student".
